We build computational methods that turn medical images and clinical data into patient-specific predictions.

The lab develops simulation and machine-learning methods for the mechanics of the human body — the aorta, the eye, and the soft tissues that carry load. We work with clinicians and industry partners to make high-fidelity modelling fast and reliable enough to inform individual patient care.

  • Predict disease progression Patient-specific models of aortic aneurysm growth and rupture risk that go beyond diameter alone.
  • Personalise diagnosis Quantitative biomechanical measures extracted from routine clinical imaging.
