We are always interested in hearing from people who want to work on the computational side of biomechanics — simulation, machine learning, and uncertainty quantification applied to real clinical problems. The lab offers a collaborative environment with access to excellent facilities at the University of Manchester.
We recruit PhD students for curiosity-driven, clinically relevant research. We look for a strong background in mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or computer science. Funding routes include EPSRC DTP awards, industrial CASE studentships, and self-funded arrangements.

We offer hands-on research projects for undergraduates with a strong interest in computational science, machine learning, or programming. Projects typically run over a summer or as a final-year dissertation. Get in touch with a short description of your background and interests.
