Software

We develop and release open-source tools for the simulation methods we work on. Solvers and element libraries are typically written in Fortran or C++ for speed, with Python used for pre- and post-processing.

FEAP-AceGen

An element library for FEAP based on the Absolute Nodal Coordinate Formulation, generated symbolically with AceGen. Provides the large-deformation beam and continuum elements used in our soft-tissue and tendon models, including locking-alleviation and contact formulations.
